The new role of Communications Manager will see the successful candidate taking responsibility for communicating Réalta’s work to its target audiences to support its vision and mission.  A key member of the Réalta team, the Communications Manager will work closely with management and staff to design and deliver integrated communications for the organisation to optimise visibility, to consolidate the organisation’s reputation at the forefront of arts and health in Ireland and to increase awareness and understanding of arts and health practice and benefits.  The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, strong writing, editing and digital marketing skills, communications management experience and a keen interest in the transformational potential of arts and health.

The Music Co-ordinator is an essential member of the Waterford Healing Arts team and will have responsibility for the delivery of the Healing Sounds live music programme in healthcare and community contexts in Waterford, in addition to contributing to the future development of the music and health programme at Waterford Healing Arts.  The role requires excellent organisational and administration skills, experience in co-ordinating the delivery of multi-faceted programmes or projects, and strong writing and communication skills.  While it is not essential for the Music Co-ordinator to be a musician, a keen understanding, appreciation and knowledge of music and the wider arts sector is essential.

Announcing details of the recruitment process, Claire Meaney, Director of Réalta, said “We are thrilled to announce these exciting new opportunities with our organisation.  The new role of Communications Manager offers the ideal candidate an exciting opportunity to break new ground, communicating the incredible potential of arts and health to a wider audience.  Similarly, as music is such an important element of the Waterford Healing Arts programme, we’re looking for a new Music Co-ordinator who can deliver our much-loved Healing Sounds live music programme, and also explore and develop new ways to expand our music and health programme into the future.  We are a vibrant, forward thinking organisation, delivering arts programmes of the highest quality in healthcare and community contexts, and we see the positive impact of our work every day.  We are passionate about what we do, so we’re looking for similarly passionate, dynamic, experienced individuals to join our team.”
